Starting next Thursday, EMS One Katowice will be the big thing everyone's talking about in the CS:GO world. As such, we're making sure that the crew commentating the matches fit the grandeur of this event as it kicks off the 2014 season. While some well-known ESL faces will be joining the team once more after the EMS One events in 2013, we'll also be adding some other commentators and experts to our lineup to provide you with all the action, analysis and interviews you need.

  • Sean Charles - Host
  • Lauren "Pansy" Scott - Commentator
  • Jason Kaplan - Commentator
  • Stuart "TosspoT" Saw - Commentator
  • Scott "SirScoots" Smith - Analyst
  • Duncan "Thorin" Shields - Analyst
  • Joshua "steel" Nissan - Observer

Stuart "TosspoT" Saw, one of the most experienced casters around, is joining our team. Hailing from the talent pool of QuadV, he has commentated a lot of events over the years, and will complete the caster's desk by joining Jason and Lauren there.

Scott "SirScoots" Smith is one of the pioneers of US eSports, being part of GotFrag, MLG and EG as well as having been on the LiveOnThree crew. Together with Duncan "Thorin" Shields, long time editor in chief of SK and now contributor at OnGamers, he will form the analyst crew in Katowice.

We are also happy to welcome Josh "steel" Nissan back to the team. Once again, he will take care of the observer camera and make sure you don't miss any of the action while the games are live.

Paul "ReDeYe" Chaloner, Head of Commentary at ESL, said of the talent who'll be present at EMS One Katowice:

"I'm thrilled that we have secured such an amazing lineup of talent and I am confident that collectively the team will bring an amazing weekend of CS:GO action to the viewers at home and at the venue in the best way they can.

We've got a real mix of youth and experience with SirScoots and Thorin performing similar roles to those at DreamHack alongside our host Sean Charles, who returns after a successful stint hosting the EMS One in 2013. We also have one of the most experienced commentators in the business - Stuart Saw - returning to an ESL event to complement our regular EMS One pairing of Lauren and Jason. I'm also thrilled that we have secured the services of Joshua "steel" Nissan to observe the entire tournament. The role he performs should not be underestimated - he never misses a frag!

The stickers are in place, the drops are about to happen and the games are almost here. This is going to be an amazing tournament presented by an amazing team of people - GL HF!"

We are looking forward to providing you with more in-depth coverage on the groups over the next few days, so stay tuned!
