The American-dominated playoffs are set for ESL One New York 2017!

ESL One New York 2017 kicked off yesterday with its group stage matches. Eight of the world’s top teams began their battle for the playoffs, a chance to play in front of the roaring crowd in Barclays Center, and the coveted trophy. We saw a total of 10 (5 per group) matches played out and four teams securing a slot in the semifinals: SK Gaming, FaZe Clan, Cloud9 and Team Liquid, giving the home crowd even more reasons to be extremely loud in the venue today and tomorrow.


Group A

  • SK Gaming vs. ENVYUS 16-12 on cobblestone
  • Cloud9 vs. Na’Vi 16-13 on inferno
  • SK Gaming vs. Cloud9 16-5 on train
  • ENVYUS vs. Na’Vi 11-16 on train, 8-16 on cobblestone (0-2)
  • Cloud9 vs. Na’Vi 16-10 on mirage, 16-11 on train (2-0)

Group B

  • FaZe vs. VP 16-5 on cache
  • Astralis vs. Liquid 16-13 on mirage
  • FaZe vs. Astralis 16-6 on inferno
  • VP vs. Liquid 10-16 on inferno, 16-6 on nuke, 5-16 on mirage (1-2)
  • Astralis vs. Liquid 14-16 on inferno, 19-17 on cache, 12-16 on mirage (1-2)

Today, Saturday, September 16, Barclays Center opens its doors to passionate fans and our four semifinalists will play on the big stage. The matchups will be as follows:

  • SK Gaming vs. Team Liquid
  • FaZe Clan vs. Cloud9
