ESL, together with Ubisoft and Xbox, is excited to announce Season 2 of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League! The global competition is set to begin on May 30 for Xbox One and June 2 for PC, with this second season to give players the chance to compete against some of the most seasoned Rainbow Six Siege players in order to try and get their hands on a share of the US$150,000 prize pool.

The Season 1 Finals

Before Season 2 begins, the top two Season 1 teams from Europe and North America will go head to head in order to see who is worthy of claiming the Season 1 champion title. Teams will also be competing for the lion’s share of a cool US$50,000 prize pool, which is up for grabs in both the Xbox and PC finals and means competition is bound to be fierce.

Season 1 Xbox One Finals

  • When: Friday, April 22
  • Where: The ESL arena at PAX East, Boston, Massachusetts

Season 1 PC Finals

  • When: Saturday, May 7
  • Where: The ESL studios in Cologne, Germany

More specific schedule information will be released soon and both events will be broadcast live on Twitch at Twitch.tv/Rainbow6, so be sure to tune in!

Support the Pro League!

From now until May 6, all Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege players can support the Pro League teams taking part in Season 1 by purchasing special edition themed weapon skins.

Up to 30% of the proceeds generated by the purchase of these skins will be shared equally between the participating Pro League teams - check out the FAQ for more information!

Rainbow Six Siege free weekend

PC players who still haven’t had a chance to get their hands on a copy of Rainbow Six Siege can take it for a test drive for free this weekend!

From Thursday, April 14 until Sunday, April 17, anyone who doesn’t own Rainbow Six Siege will be able to play the full game for free on PC via Steam or Uplay PC, and any in-game progression you make will also carry over to the full version should you choose to pick it up after the free weekend is over.
