With only one week left in the Rainbow Six Pro League, the standings are closer than ever on both PC and Xbox. Orbit have secured their second Finals appearance with five Season 2 wins, but the other three PC spots are up for grabs. Six Xbox One teams are still neck and neck,  fighting to represent North America in the Season 2 Finals.

The first match of Week 6 for the North American Xbox One division featured Strictly Business taking on ReWritten. Oregon was up first and went in favor of Strictly Business, as their defense reigned supreme. The second map was a lot more one sided, as Strictly Business finished off Clubhouse with a score of 5-1. Not only did ReWritten only win one round, but also multiple times failed to kill more than two enemies. Strictly Business claimed their first 2-0 win of the season and placed themselves in third place overall.

Match two saw Excellence Gaming defeat Team AGG. After a lot of technical troubles for Excellence in Game 1, they managed to close out the map point in overtime. Excellence then took over and crushed AGG on Clubhouse without ceding a single round. Offstream, Denial Esports tied MYTH 1-1.

PC

True Ambition took on Ace Gaming in the first North American PC match on Thursday. Chalet was up first, and in the most contested map of the week True Ambition closed out the game 6-4. The second map was just as close and finished with a score of 5-3 in favor of True Ambition. Nearly every round resulted in a clutch situation or a post-plant win. Both teams played extremely defensively, resulting in one of the closest series to date.

The final series of the week included Lunatik Esports and Empire Esports. Lunatik emerged the victor after seven rounds on House. They then crushed Empire on Kanal 5-0, picking up their first 2-0 of the season and eliminating Empire from playoff contention.
