ESL and award-winning sports broadcasting expert David Hill today announced the launch of Esports by Hill, a new premium production service. Hill will work exclusively with ESL on special projects with select publishers and sponsors to develop premium events and viewing experiences for esports fans.
Hill is best known for spearheading the launch of FOX Sports. He spent nearly three decades at Fox where he most recently held the role of Senior Executive Vice President at 21st Century Fox. During his tenure, Hill helped launch FOX Sports, Fox Network, Sky Television and the Regional Sports Networks. Hill’s noteworthy digital achievements include developing the game scores and time remaining box (Fox Box), the NFL first down graphic line, and the NHL’s glowing hockey puck.
In 2015, Hill launched the production venture, Hilly, where he co-produced the 88th Academy Awards. Hill has also served as the Executive Producer on The X Factor and the last two seasons of American Idol.
