ESL National Championship winners to clash at ESL League of Legends EuroCup 2019 in Italy

We are bringing some of the best emerging talents to play in a medieval church at ESL LoL EuroCup at Lucca Comics & Games 2019 festival on October 30-31!

The competition will be played in two phases: an Online Playoff and the Live Final.

Online Playoff (September 2-6)

- The ESL National Championship winners from the following eight countries/regions will be invited: Poland, Southeast Europe, Netherlands, Belgium, The Czech Rep. and Slovak Rep., Germany, France and Switzerland.
- Teams will be split into two groups of four and play each other in a GSL Bo3 format.
- The winners of each group, plus the winner of a decider match between the second-placed teams will advance to the Live Final in Lucca, Italy.

Live Final (October 30-31)

- Italy, as the host nation, will have a direct invitation to the Live Final, with the other three teams from the online portion joining in on the action.
- The tournament will feature a single-elimination bracket played over two days, with Bo3 semi-finals and a Bo5 Grand Final.
- The Esports Cathedral in Lucca, Italy, a real medieval church, will provide a unique backdrop for the action as part of the Italian Esports Open at Lucca Comics & Games, the largest comics, games and video games festival in Europe with 500.000+ attendees in 2018.
- Teams will get full travel and accommodation to Lucca, Italy.
