Yesterday, May 16th, the first relegation matches of season 5 of the ESL Pro League kicked off with four European and four North American teams competing for a slot in season 6 in their respective divisions. On day one, a total of four semifinals were played, two in EU and two in NA, with teams either moving to the winners’ or losers’ bracket.
Fighting for a slot in season 6 of the ESL Pro League in the European division are HellRaisers and Virtus.pro, who finished 12th and 13th in season 5 respectively, as well as BIG and PENTA Sports, who finished 2nd and 3rd in the ESEA Premier division.

In the NA division, it’s Rush and The Foundation from the ESL Pro League, and Enigma6 and Ghost Gaming battling it out for the two available slots in the ESL Pro League season 6.
