Team Liquid came out swinging at the Halo World Championship Tour: Columbus, with nine wins and zero losses on the way to the quarterfinals where they finally lost to Denial. But their performance secured them a spot at the Halo World Championship. We spoke to Team Liquid's coach Elamite as the team preps for Hollywood.

ESL: What is your team's strongest/weakest map?
Elamite: Strongest map: Truth CTF / TS. Weakest map: Eden TS

ESL: In your opinion, what is the best Spartan ability and what’s the best way to use it?
Elamite: In my opinion, the Thruster Pack is the best Spartan ability. The best way to use it is in the middle of a battle to throw off your opponent’s shot.

ESL: What was the greatest obstacle your team had to overcome in order to qualify for worlds?
Elamite: We had a slow start, but once we got together and put the time in, we realized how good we can be and it showed at Columbus.

ESL: What part of your game does your team have to improve on most in order to win?
Elamite: Being patient when we don’t have numbers on the map and knowing when to be aggressive and to do it with teammates.

ESL: Which team are you most excited to play? Least excited to play?
Elamite: We are most excited to play Denial. They had a great tournament at Columbus, knocking us out in the process. There is no team that we are “least excited” to play. Every match is going to be important and we’re confident against anyone.
