Kicking off the day, the news broke that TyLoo were using an ineligible player on their roster. This caused their disqualification from the CS:GO Minor at Intel Extreme Masters Taipei. So only Renegades, Eat You Alive and The MongolZ were left in the race for the two vacant spots in the semi finals.

The invited Renegades turned up proving this invite right with an impressive performance against Eat You Alive. the Australians only dropped two rounds, before advancing to play The MongolZ for the first place. After sitting out the first round of play, The Mongolz showed up strong, taking the upper hand over Renegades early on. In the end they were the team to take the first ticket to the semifinals by sending the Australians to play against Eat You Alive one more time. Here, Renegades were the stronger team once again, eventually joining The MongolZ in the semi finals.
