Our ESL One Dota 2 tournaments in 2016 took us all the way from Manila in April to Frankfurt in June, bringing us some of the most exciting matches of the year - like Team Secret vs Team Empire at ESL One Manila - as well as new trophy holders in both Wings Gaming and OG. While looking through our event photo galleries, we’ve had to make some tough choices, but ended up with a great album of our favorite shots of the year. Take a look at some of the photos that stood out!

ESL One Manila

Our inaugural Dota 2 event in Southeast Asia was a rousing affair with a fully packed stadium, the best teams and players and of course some absolutely thrilling matchups. The event marked the start of a Wings Gaming dominance that would last for the better part of the year and here are some of our favorite impressions.

ESL One Frankfurt

For the third time running, Dota 2 filled the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt and with OG we got our sixth different ESL One champion in six total tournaments over the last three years. Let’s see if that streak keeps up next year!
