The Road to BlizzCon continues for Europe's top Heroes of the Storm teams in the final round of eight qualifier

The Heroes of the Storm European Championship taking place at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic on October the 3rd and 4th is almost upon us! With the winner getting the chance to take part in the World Championship at BlizzCon in Anaheim in November, there’s a lot to play for. However, before we get there, there’s still the final open qualifier to close up...

The Europe Open #3 round of eight

The third and final round of eight in the Europe Open is set to take place on September the 5th and 6th, and the brackets have already been decided. We will be kicking off a full weekend of Heroes of the Storm action with the following matchups:

  • Gamers2.HotS vs. Team Spartanien
  • Fnatic vs. Bob Question Mark
  • Team ROCCAT vs. Pirates in Pyjaamas
  • Evil Murkies vs. Elysium Gaming Black

With the first and second place teams earning a spot at the 2015 European Championship, the competition will be fierce!

The European Championship lineup

So far, six teams have earned their spots at the Heroes of the Storm European Championship in Prague via the Europe Open qualifiers. As such, the current lineup for the European Championship is as follows:

  • Natus Vincere HotS (first place in Europe Open #1)
  • Team ROCCAT (second place in Europe Open #1)
  • Virtus.pro HOTS (third place in Europe Open #1)
  • Team Liquid (first place in Europe Open #2)
  • BoB Question Mark (second place in Europe Open #2)
  • Gamers2.HotS (third place in Europe Open #2)

After the Europe Open #3 comes to a close, the first and second place teams will join those listed above as they travel to the O2 Arena in Prague. There they will fight for a spot in the Heroes of the Storm World Championship at BlizzCon!
