Intel Extreme Masters San Jose is just around the corner, and with it another League of Legends tournament hosted at the SAP Center. Six teams will battle it out for a US$50,000 prize pool - five fan-voted and one directly invited. Unicorns of Love earned third place in the European fan vote, but due to Fnatic’s withdrawal from the event they will be making a second appearance in San Jose.

Harmony, harmony?

Last year, Unicorns of Love were voted into participating in Intel Extreme Masters San Jose. A new team just coming into the European LCS, no one had particularly high expectations for them. However, Unicorns surprised everyone with their impressive performance.

They started off with a 2-0 win against Lyon Gaming and moved onto the semifinals, where they faced Team SoloMid. Unicorns wowed everyone with their dominant play and their now legendary Twisted Fate jungle, beating TSM 2-0 and showing the world they were a team to be reckoned with.
