For the first time in Intel Extreme Masters history, esports fans have a chance to directly support the teams and players competing at the tournament by increasing the prize money they can win at the event.

During a sale starting today and running throughout both Intel Extreme Masters San Jose and Cologne, Newegg will have a selection of gaming gear by Intel Extreme Masters partners and Intel-powered gaming systems on sale. On top of attractive discounts for the buyers, Newegg will give up a percentage of the sales towards boosting the prize money for the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in Katowice early next year.

You can find the full selection of products in the sale here.

Purchase any of the items in the Intel Extreme Masters Newegg sale and a percentage (which varies between different products) of the proceeds will go towards increasing the prize purse of the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in Katowice.

The Intel Extreme Masters San Jose tournament will take place at the SAP Center on December the 6th to the 7th 2014, and feature a StarCraft II and an international League of Legends tournament attended by such massive teams as TSM, Cloud 9, Alliance and Unicorns of Love. Intel Extreme Masters Cologne is set to take place from December the 18th to the 21st 2014, and will include a similarly star-studded lineup. The World Championship, meanwhile, will be taking place in Katowice from 12th to the 15th of March 2015.
