Free to Play to be released on 19th of March

Valve have finally revealed their plans for the long-awaited Dota documentary "Free to Play", which has been in the works for three years. The documentary follows the lives of three professional Dota 2 players as they head to The International in the hopes of winning the first million dollar prize purse in the history of competitive video games.

For elite players, the International represents a chance for them to change their lives. Come March, join Danil "Dendi" Ishutin, Benedict "Hyhy" Lim and Clinton "Fear" Loomis on their quest to become the first ever International champions:
Already shown to a small audience at The International 3, the Free To Play documentary will finally be released to the public on the 19th of March. A premiere will be held at The Castro Theatre in San Francisco on March 18th for a lucky, select group of individuals.

The movie will be released on Steam for free, but those who wish to will be able to show their appreciation by purchasing Free To Play's "Competitor's Pack". 25% of the proceeds will go towards the people behind the scenes and the players featured in the documentary. The pack comes with a bunch of in-game items for Dota 2, including a set for each of the three protagonists of the documentary.
