ESL has just revealed the two teams invited to the ESL One in Frankfurt. The two juggernauts of Dota 2, Alliance and Natus Vincere, will be heading to Frankfurt this June to compete in front of thousands for a prize pool of more than US $150,000!

Alliance, the champions of the most recent International, were perhaps the most prominent team to receive an invite. Their performance during last summer and the months that followed have shown the world that they deserve to be called the best, but whether or not that title still stands will be found out in Frankfurt.

Natus Vincere is a team that knows glory as well. Winning an International themselves and placing second in the following two proves that they are a very consistent team. In addition to various massive tournament victories, the team is also widely popular throughout the world. Natus Vincere and Alliance are rivals on the field, and while having faced off many times before, they've never done it in front of an audience as massive as the one that will be at ESL One Frankfurt.

ESL One enables fans to directly support teams

In addition to these two amazing teams attending the event, ESL has also announced that it will be helping out the teams directly as well as encouraging the development of the professional scene. Fans will be able to purchase tickets via referral links for their favorite teams, thus directly benefiting them.

The third wave of tickets for ESL One Frankfurt is set to go live on March the 21st 2014 at 18:00 CET on the ESL One site. Make sure to get yours before they sell out!
