Secure your ticket to see the world's best gamers in action at San Jose next Tuesday

With the next Intel Extreme Masters event just over a month away, it’s time to start getting excited.

On the 6th of December, the world’s best gamers will gather at the SAP Center in San Jose to compete for glory, prize money and the iconic Intel Extreme Masters trophy, with the top League of Legends and StarCraft II players from around the globe all hungry to make victory theirs.

League of Legends

Two top LCS teams have already been invited to take part in Intel Extreme Masters San Jose, and we’ll be announcing who on the 28th of October, so be sure to keep an eye on social media. The other four participating teams will be decided in the following ways:
  • One European and one North American LCS team will be voted for by you - you’ll be able to cast yours on the Intel Extreme Masters site from the 29th of October
  • One Brazilian team will qualify via matches taking place on the 25th to the 26th of October
  • One Latin American team will qualify on the 22nd of November


As well as there being honor and prize money on the line, the top team will also get the opportunity to travel to the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship, where they will compete against those who emerged victorious from Intel Extreme Masters’ European and Asian stops.

StarCraft II

Intel Extreme Masters San Jose wouldn’t be a proper Intel Extreme Masters event without the attendance of some of the world’s top StarCraft II players. forGG, VortiX, Rain and herO have all already qualified, and with the stellar lineup only set to increase, there are sure to be plenty of nailbiting matches to be had before a champion is crowned.

Tuesday the 28th of October is when you’ll first be able to get your hands on tickets for Intel Extreme Masters San Jose - this is when we’ll be releasing a limited number of discounted Early Bird tickets before general sale begins a week later. Premium tickets will also be available from next Tuesday, and will offer holders an exclusive VIP esports experience at San Jose.
